The Anna Maria Island Historical Society invites visitors to its 20th Annual Heritage Day Festival on March 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Anna Maria Island Historic Museum and Park located at 402 Pine Avenue in the historic city of Anna Maria.

The public enjoys free admission to come explore the island's history through guided tours of the museum and historic Belle Haven Cottage. As well as visit with over 40 outdoor vendors of antiques, handmade items, fine art and Island crafts.

There will be numerous food samplings consisting of the island's Early Settler's Bread, BBQ, ice cream, hot dogs and boiled peanuts.

Privateers will mingle through the crowd along with clown activities for all ages!

Live musical entertainment will play throughout the day by State Road 64; an island bluegrass band.
